What Is Exceptional

1. Cricket ground — The most underrated Belmondo amenity. A full-format cricket ground within a residential complex is genuinely rare in Pune. Weekend corporate cricket leagues happen here — a community builder that Panache and Magnus cannot replicate.

2. Senior citizen zone — Purpose-designed spaces for residents aged 60+. Most townships treat senior citizens as an afterthought; Belmondo positioned them as a primary buyer segment. For multi-generational families, this is decisive.

3. Scale of outdoor space — 100 acres means amenities are not crowded even at full occupancy. Compare this to a 5-acre Phase 1 Hinjewadi project where 400 families share a 25m pool.

4. Cycling and running infrastructure — A 2 km dedicated cycling track is usable daily without competing with cars. Urban Hinjewadi projects cannot offer this.


What Is Missing or Under-Developed

Commercial zone — Belmondo’s internal commercial strip is still developing. The convenience store and café exist but are not yet a self-sufficient retail zone. Residents still drive 10–15 km for premium groceries, restaurants, and services. This is the single biggest lifestyle gap vs Wakad or Baner.

Co-working quality — Belmondo’s co-working is functional but below Panache’s dedicated outdoor workspace offering (which was designed specifically for Hinjewadi IT professionals). For WFH buyers with occasional office needs, this matters.

Medical facility — A pharmacy exists within the township but there’s no hospital or clinic. Nearest major hospital is 10–15 km.

Who will underuse it: Single IT professionals who want proximity to Hinjewadi and a basic gym + pool. Belmondo’s amenity overhead (maintenance charges) should be justified by usage.
